The author, Andrew Mylne, also wrote "Epitome of English Grammar", "Outlines of Modern Geography" and Exercises on the History of England" -seemingly a series of early 19th century text books. Both of the leather covers are detached, are lightly marked and rubbed around the edges with worn corners, there is wear at spine-ends and dulled gilt lettering on the spine.
