Grey boards with red black and white illustration with red linen spine. Boards are clean and firm but worn at corners. Spine is faded and split for approx 3cm at both ends, binding is severely shaken - some pages have become detached and re-attached with discoloured adhesive tape, some pages are still loosely attached and some pages are wholly detached, pages are generally clean although a little darkened but illustrations are clean and bright, occasional pages have short marginal tears and page 49/50 is missing its inner margin and a small area of the illustration adjacent to the inner margin (this page and the illustrated page 48 are discoloured with the remains of 9 pieces of adhesive tape at the hinge), pages 51/52 also have some marginal loss on the inner edge, page 53/54 is similar with some loss to the illustration adjacent to the inner edge.
