Bees, Honey & Candles
At Bailgate Books, we sell honey and candles from the bees that we keep in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
In our range we have honey from the bees that we keep in Lincoln's Cathedral Quarter. This honey is predominately from mature trees such as oak, lime, sycamore, horse-chestnut, cherries, plums and apples and from garden flowers. These honeys are generally clear with wide-ranging flavours, we usually also have honey containing chunks of comb in this range.
We also have honey from the bees that we keep in the villages of Heapham in Lincolnshire and Mattersey in Nottinghamshire, these honeys are usually predominately made-up of nectar from arable crops but also include nectar from the trees, hedgerows and gardens of the surrounding countryside and villages.
